‘Out Behind the Barn’ by Little Jimmy Dickens was a regular at the Grand Ole Opry – when it really was. Those were the days of Patsy Cline, George Jones, Hank Williams and too many others to mention. Those were the days of traditional country music. -www.countrymusichalloffame.com/site/inductees.aspx?cid=115#
O Lawdy how I miss the old country fiddlin and singin like ‘Out Behind the Barn’ by Little Jimmy Dickens. He was also a piece of work and known as ‘The Mighty Mouse in Pajamas’ because of his stature. He was only 4′ 11″ and adorned his small body with rhinestone country attire. He is a true master of country novelty songs as well as a singer of ballads. On November 8, 2009 he was celebrated by country music fans at the ‘new’ Grand Ole Opry for his 60 years of performing. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Little_Jimmy_Dickens. He’s no stranger to the Country Music Hall of Fame.
Put a smile on your face and take a listen to ‘Out Behind the Barn by Little Jimmy Dickens’…my kinda guy!
