Yep! It’s goodbye Chanel #5 and Hello B.O. Having said that, things are looking up from conservative perspectives. I say this because when someone as liberal as Bill Maher criticizes Barack Obama www.huffingtonpost.com/bill-maher/new-rule-float-like-obama_b_284151.html not once but many times on his show, it is a good way to read the liberal Barometer. Oh my, how that pendulum does swing. Mayer said, “Now I know that right now, I’m supposed to be all re injected with yes we can fever after the big health care speech, and it was a great speech–when Black Elvis gets jiggy with his teleprompter, there is none better. But here’s the thing: Muhammad Ali also had a way with words, but it helped enormously that he could also punch guys in the face…” The blog is titled ‘New Rule: Float Like Obama, Sting Like Ali.’
Bill Maher’s hair always makes me wonder if he died, had an out of body experience and came back wearing James Brown’s old folk’s wig slathered in Dixie Peach! Yep! Goodbye Chanel #5 and hello B.O. And no amount of perfume in this universe can mask the inward foul odor of lying, cheating and power grabbing egotists such as our current President – and all those who surround him.
There are other reasons for conservatives to feel optimistic and they are visible signs of hope. The first being the Independents and Moderate Democrats are waking up – in short, their snoots are growing full of this dysfunctional President’s ‘bait and switch’ approach to issues that affect every aspect of the American people’s lives. Barack Obama is the poster child for mental health reform. The tea parties are a great example of the hope I am referring to.
Liberal journalists are questioning his modis operandi, i.e. his demeanor before being elected and the rhetoric after becoming President, i.e., ‘bait and switch’, pushing to pass life altering legislation that the Democrats haven’t read, don’t understand but are eager to cast their mindless votes for – similar to drowning rats dreaming of that perfect piece of cheese they’ll get in the heaven they think they’ll go to. Recently, in a Salon.Com article, www.freerepublic.com/tag/paglia/index liberal journalist Camille Paglia wrote, “Obama has himself to blame for the Health Care chaos because his aggressive endorsement of a plan that doesn’t exist – that no one has read and the public doesn’t understand is making the White House look more like ‘Cloud Cuckoo Land’- this folks, is coming from LIBERALS. That is why I’ve still said goodbye to Chanel #5 and Hello B.O. – yet where there is life there is hope.
