Sarah Palin is not only the queen of the Alaskan frontier but also the tabloids. The question is why both Obama and Sarah are drawing more attention than the Presidential nominee John McCain and VP nominee Joe Biden? The answer is simple….outside of the fact that neither McCain nor Biden have any snap to the way they dress. Both Sarah and Barack have charisma and movie star good looks…and they both know how to work the crowd. It’s show biz folks and Obama and Sarah overrule that old saying that “politics is just show biz for uglypeople!”
That being the case – no one seems overly concerned about Obama’s association with dubious characters or Sarah’s love of killing wildlife. I think the public is drawn to highly attractive people and, depending upon whichever way you lean – that’s who gets the vote. As for myself, this election has produced some very funny videos and I think we all need a good laugh – no matter your politics – particularly in view of the last couple of days with the “Doubt” going down. Well, as my grandma used to say – when life gives you lemons – make lemonade. So have a great day and find something – anything to put a smile on your face.

Sarah Palin is going to be great for America! Below are just a few insane illustrations of how the Washington elite mind set works and it’s not too far away from this video. A Washington DC airport ticket agent offers some examples of why our country is in trouble! (Hey! makes sense to me.) 1) She says that she had a NC Congresswoman ask for an aisle seat so that her hair wouldn’t get messed up by being near the window…( on an airplane?) DUH! 2) She got a call from a candidate’s staffer who wanted to go to Capetown. The ticket agent started to explain the length of the flight and the passport information, and then candidate’s staffer interrupted her with, ” I’m not trying to make you look stupid but Capetown is in Massachusetts.” DUH!- and these are the people representing us?) 3) A senior Vermont Congressman called, furious about a Florida package this airline did. The ticket agent asked what was wrong with the vacation in Orlando. He said that he was expecting an ocean-view room. She tried to explain that’s not possible since Orlando is in the middle of the state! DUH! (Remember this at reelection time) 4)The ticket agent got a call from a lawmaker’s wife who asked, “Is it possible to see England from Canada?” She very politely said “No.” The lawmaker’s wife said, “But they look so close on the map!” DUH! 5) An aide for a cabinet member once called and asked if he could rent a car in Dallas. When she pulled up the reservation, she noticed he had only a 1-hour layover in Dallas. When she asked him why he wanted to rent a car, he said, “I heard Dallas was a big airport and we will need a car to drive between gates to save time!” DUH!
6) An Illinois Congresswoman called last week. She needed to know how it was possible that her flight from Detroit left at 8:30 AM and got to Chicago at 8:33 AM. The ticket agent explained that Michigan was an hour ahead of Illinois, but she couldn’t understand the concept of time zones. Finally the ticket agent told her the plane went very, very fast and she bought that & all was A O K. DUH!
Just stop and think for a moment about all the abnormally challenged people in government that are making decisions that deeply effect our lives. One wonders if they even got their high school GED. I think this is why Sarah Palin is resounding with middle America…especially women. We know her because she’s just like us. We have family concerns, know how to jockey kids back and forth to Little League, go home and make dinner, run a business and love the hubby. Good women can do that…they are the nurturers in our society. Now get one good + (looking) woman who is smart, refreshingly candid, who doesn’t take any BS from the Washington elite ,let’s you know where she stands and what do you have? A President in the making…down the road of course. Don’t think the RNC isn’t thinking along those lines. She’s got common sense as opposed to no sense at all!
