Beyonce called Tina Turner ” The Queen” at the 2008 Grammy awards – thus invoking the ire of Aretha Franklin. I love Aretha Franklin but she’s porked out so much that in a good bitch fight with Tina (who is slim and looking fabulous at 68), Aretha WOULD be queen for a day! Tina’s life with Ike Turner was such a nightmare and her struggles to perform as a single act are well known. I’m thrilled to see her making a comeback. She has fans the world over and her moves are the same…those long legs and high heels doin their thing…just taking off and having a life of their own.
So welcome back Tina & for what’s it’s worth Beyonce was right, “You are the Queen!”
