How we perceive things
How we perceive life is pretty much the jest of ‘Just a dog.’ I love this story because animals have always been my best friends in life. As a little girl, I’d experienced far more than any child should – yet God in His infinite wisdom always gave me a pet that I could love and I always knew loved me…and would never leave (natural causes notwithstanding.) So like this story says, when you hear, ‘Just a dog’, remember the fact that dogs never judge you, don’t care what you look like, don’t care if you are toothless and bald or on the front of Vogue or have the looks of Dracula or Brad Pitt. They just love you for the sake of love. Wouldn’t it be a beautiful place if we humans had that level of humanity?
Are you a lonely individual? Go to the local animal shelter and adopt some little pet – guaranteed it will change your life. ‘Just a dog’ will become the best part of your life.
