George Carlin on fat people is one of the most insightful performances of his career – but don’t watch this video if you’re easily offended. That’s what George Carlin did. He dug deep into the psyche of American society and then told it like he saw it…always funny but not always easy to take. When you watch George Carlin on fat people, you’ll see what I mean. /www.brainyquote.com/quotes/authors/g/george_carlin.htmlquotes/authors/g/george_carlin.html .His book “Napalm and Silly Putty” was on the New York Times best seller list for ages. He was an actor, author and 4 time Grammy award winner for his comedy albums. He motivated and influenced Chris Rock, Jerry Seinfeld, Louis C.K., Bill Cosby, Lewis Black, Jon Stewart, Stephen Colbert, Bill Maher – to name but a few. He was also the first comic to ever host SNL on October 11, 1975. He passed away June 22, 2008.
His hard edgy humor was, from my perspective, a cover for that which he never found in this life – peace of mind. He was a seeker for the real deal in everything – the truth – and somehow he never found it. George Carlin was critical of organized religion, politics and anything and everything that smacked of self interest.
Here’s to ya George – I knew your softer side. I’ll miss your wit and insight – and hope to God you find peace of mind wherever you may be. In any case whenever I need to put a smile on my face I’ll watch you – George Carlin on fat people
as I waddle over to the Doritos.
